China Puts 2,600 Year Old Agriculture Tax Away

China announced to abolish a 2,600-year-old agriculture tax in early 2006. The China National People's Council Standing Committee, the legislative body, took the decision. In 2005, the Beijing administration removed stockbreeding tax and put a rebate in on agriculture tax into practice in early 2004
