OPEC Might Reduce Oil Production Print E-mail
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) might decrease the crude oil output following the high demand brought on by the onset of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. The organization could go for a reduction in the second quarter of 2006, it was announced.
OPEC President and Kuwait Oil Minister Sheikh Ahmed al-Fahd al-Sabah during a visit to China, predicted an output cut; however, in the first quarter of the new year, no change should be anticipated the minister said.
