EU Screening of Turkish Agriculture Starts

The European Union (EU) screening process in “agriculture" as part of Turkey's accession to the Union will commence on Monday. The screening of the Turkish agriculture sector will be one of the key chapters during membership talks. The orientation meetings on agriculture in Turkey will continue until December 16 in Brussels while the detailed screening will commence on 28 January 2006.
