US Rice to Meet with German Merkel

US Secretary of State Condollezza Rice will meet with newly appointed German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Tuesday. The government spokesman for Germany, Thomas Stag, declared Rice and Merkel will discuss bilateral relations. The subject of US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) planes secretly carrying terror suspects to the prisons in Eastern Europe is also noted among the topics to be discussed. Rice is to ask Merkel to eliminate the criticisms over the methods the Washington administration used over terror suspect and she will also request the case not to be kept on the agenda. Reportedly, CIA airplanes landed in German city Frankfurt several times.
