FDA Approves Tamiflu for Children Print E-mail
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of anti-flu medicine called “Tamiflu” for children between one and 12 years old as a preventive medicine.
The Swiss manufacturing company Roche announced the FDA’s confirmation. As a measure against the bird flu, high levels of Tamiflu stocks are made in many countries. Tamiflu is known to be the most effective medicine against the HN51 virus of the bird flu.
