Ukraine signs natural gas deal with Turkmenistan |

The Ukraine signed a deal with Turkmenistan on Wednesday to receive 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually.
Following the meeting with President Sapar Murat Turkmenbasi in
Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat, the Chief of Russia's natural gas
monopoly Gazprom Aleksei Miller stated that Ukraine are going to get 40
billion cubic meters of natural gas from Turkmenistan. |

Human bird flu diagnosed in eastern Turkey |

At least two people in eastern Turkey have tested positive for the
deadly human strain of bird flu, Health Minister Recep Akdag confirmed
via a live press conference on Wednesday night.
A 14-year-old boy who died last weekend did have the disease, Recep Akdag said, contradicting earlier statements. |

Russia as a way out of an impasse in talks over its controversial
nuclear programme.
Supreme National Security Council Secretary
Ali Larijani said it was not logical for any country to entrust its

outbreaks, the World Health Organization said on Friday, a day after
Beijing announced the country's third human death from the disease.

woman, a 41-year old factory worker from the southeastern province of
