Google Search Engine Could Sell AOL Stake in 2008
News
Google Inc, which just completed it’s merger with AOL, giving Google a 5 percent stake in AOL, could sell that stake as soon as 2008, this per documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Per the agreement for the purchase of the $1 billion stake, Google can legally change its stake as of July 1, 2008, to require a public offering of its stake, according to Google's filing on Friday with the SEC.

Japanese open water treatment plant in Iraq

A water treatment plant was opened on Tuesday by Japanese troops in the Iraqi city of Samawa, the treatment plant will provide drinking water to Rumeisa Town and other districts.

A Water treatment plant was constructed in Rumeisa District, 35 km from the Iraqi city of Samawa and opened by the Japanese on Tuesday. It will also provide the drinking water need for El-Mecid Suveyr districts of Rumeisa.

French and Austrians Against Turkey's EU Entry

According to a public research study conducted in Europe, mostly the French and Austrians are opposed to Turkey’s accession to European Union (EU).
The results of the research conducted by the “Advanced Market Research” institute in the German city of Düsseldorf, with the help of German news magazine Der Spiegel, in regard to several issues in France, Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, and Poland, indicates that 71 percent of French and 70 percent of Austrians are against Turkey’s accession to the EU; in the Netherlands the same figure is at 37 percent.

Anti-NATO Center Founded in Moscow

An Anti-NATO Information Center is being founded in Moscow to prevent the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s expansion towards the East.
Another goal of the center, founded by the initiative of Ukraine's progressive socialists’ leader Natalia Vitrenko, is to prevent the Ukraine's joining of NATO.
