Condoleezza Rice: Still Not Running for President Print E-mail
(HQP)First lady Laura Bush predicts that United States will son have a female president, she said it'll be a republican and has a good chance it will be Secretary of the State Condoleezza Rice.

Although that comment could boost Rice's confidence, She still rules out the posibility of her running for the head of the office position. Mrs. Bush said "I think it will happen for sure," on Friday about a woman running the office.
Since she was appointed to be SEcretary of the State, Rice has repeatedly denied her possibile chance on running for President in 2008 to succeed for his current boss President George W. Bush.

When asked about the first lady's comments about her running for the office, she laughed and smile about it, but still her answer is still the same "no-dice".

Rice said "Obvious, it's flattering when people say things like that. The first lady is not only a terrific person, she's my friend. And I was honored that she said that, of course.
She's a wonderful person," then added "But I've spoken to this. I know what I'm good at, I know what I want to do and that's not it."

They wonder why? and quickly follows up with the question about the Vice President position, Rice quickly answers "The two are the same,".

On Mrs. Bush flight to Ghana she was asked about whether if she had heard what
Rice's said about her comments, she joked with "I'm probably going to have to take over her correspondence department, when she gets all the letters," proving Mrs. Bush belief in the chances of Rice.
