Al-Sabaniye Party Leader,Muhit Abduhzahra held a press conference in the southern Iraqi city of Basra's Business Centre on Sunday. Opposition party's president criticised Iraqi PM Ibrahim Jaafari in his speech.
He said,"We signed a mutual agreement with Iyad Allawi yesterday and decided to become allies acting against current Iraqi government for 2006 elections. We want to come to the power and raise Iraqis' life standards. We struggle for a federal and liberated Iraq. All Iraqis are aware that the current government is doing nothing."
Abduhzahra also blamed Jaafari's government with doing no action and not taking any step forward and stressed that all foreign troops should have to withdraw completely from Iraq. He said,"There is still an instability going on in our nation. Insurgent attacks and terrorist activities also continue. Foreign forces saved us from the ousted leader Saddam Hosein, but now it's time to leave our lands. 993 people died in Basra within eight months.Security in Iraq should be totally provided by our forces".
In two-hour long conference,Muhit Abduhzahra also answered the press members'questions regarding his new projects and actions for Iraq.
