Increasing its pressure on Syria, the US claimed that Syria has a "black list" in Lebanon.

Spokesperson for the White House Scott McClellan said Syrians formed a "black list" to terminate the oppositions that emerged against the existence of Lebanon and added: "There was news from the intelligence for the period that Syrians formed black lists targeting the assassination of prominent political and religious figures in Lebanon."

US President George W. Bush sent a new warning to Syria yesterday (June 10). Bush blamed Syria for creating an intimidating atmosphere in Lebanon where the election process continues and demand to remove Syrian intelligence members from the country.
